Responsibilities
- Support design engineers in hands-on work, assembly, component ordering, and BOM creation.
- Design and analyze test systems and support equipment under supervision using CAD-based tools and electrical schematic tools.
- Generate engineering drawings and support test equipment fabrication.
- Manage small projects from conception to completion.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Some relevant experience/coursework in aerospace design, mechanical design, electro-mechanical systems, thermal systems, electrical/power engineering, and machine control.
- Supportive curriculum knowledge of design practices, basic analysis, and mechanical drawing/drafting.
- Desired knowledge in structures/composites, electro-mechanical/robotics, and/or controls engineering.
- Experience using lab equipment and machine shop tools.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and passion for work and projects.
