Responsibilities
- Participate in design, construction, commissioning, and operational activities related to cooling systems for HPC data centers.
- Develop, review, and validate specifications and technical information from external parties.
- Perform technical calculations, simulations, and thermal analysis to optimize cooling systems.
- Monitor system performance and implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Investigate mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
- Support Asset Management and Maintenance initiatives, including lifecycle plans and maintenance strategies.
- Develop technical documentation to support engineering functions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Data Centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Expertise in large-scale cooling plant design and control.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermal principles, and HVAC load calculation tools.
- Experience with mechanical systems integration and data center management tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Self-driven with attention to detail and ability to work with limited direction.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, CFD tools, and design software such as Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
