Responsibilities
- Participate in design, construction, commissioning, and operational activities related to cooling systems for HPC data centers.
- Develop, review, and validate specifications, calculations, and technical information from external parties.
- Perform calculations, simulations, and thermal analysis to optimize cooling and airflow.
- Monitor system performance and implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Investigate mechanical issues, performing root cause analysis and proposing corrective actions.
- Support Asset Management and Maintenance initiatives, including development of life-cycle plans and maintenance strategies.
- Develop technical documentation for engineering functions from design to operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Expertise in large-scale chilled water cooling plant design and fluid dynamics.
- Knowledge of thermal and HVAC principles and load calculation software.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Self-driven with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Solidworks is a plus.
