Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design efforts for the avionics team.
- Design mechanical systems that interface with avionics subsystems.
- Develop tooling and test equipment for environmental testing and vehicle integration.
- Qualify designs through various environmental tests including vibration and thermal testing.
- Collaborate with cross-domain stakeholders to ensure mechanical systems meet avionics needs.
- Produce engineering drawings and apply GD&T standards.
- Communicate effectively within a dynamic startup environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical design skills for high load environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Siemens NX.
- Experience in producing engineering drawings with GD&T.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
