Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers in continuous improvement of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
- Coach and evaluate team members throughout the year.
- Manage team assignments, priorities, and budget.
- Support commercialization of existing products by addressing field and manufacturing issues.
- Drive continuous improvement through project planning with cross-functional teams.
- Provide expertise in risk management and maintain documentation.
- Make decisions under time pressure and ambiguous conditions.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing complex mechanical products.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving in products and processes.
- Ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of design controls and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
- Passion for solving technical problems and creating reliable products.
