Responsibilities
- Lead a team of mechanical engineers in Continuous Improvement of the da Vinci® Surgical System.
- Coach and evaluate team members, providing feedback and development plans.
- Manage team assignments, priorities, and budget.
- Support product commercialization by addressing issues from the field and manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement projects in collaboration with various teams.
- Maintain risk and requirement documentation related to the system.
- Provide expertise in complex problem-solving and decision-making.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing complex mechanical products.
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with medical device design and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Root Cause Analysis and design controls.
- Technical proficiency in electro-mechanical products.
- Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
