Responsibilities
- Design, analysis, and development of propulsion systems and components for space flight.
- Work with cryogenic, monoprop, and cold gas propulsion architectures.
- Conduct mathematical modeling of dynamic systems.
- Apply advanced propulsion system design experience and analysis principles.
- Design and operate propulsion system test equipment and write test procedures.
- Conduct qualification and acceptance testing of components and systems.
- Fabricate propulsion components and assemblies as necessary.
Job Requirements
- MS or BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency in fluid dynamics, combustion, heat transfer, structural design, and material science.
- Strong knowledge of propulsion system fundamentals and related processes.
- Professional experience with Solidworks, Ansys/Fluent, or similar tools.
- Experience in creating and validating engineering models.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
