Responsibilities
- Design, fabricate, and test novel electrodes and leads for the device.
- Develop implanted connectors, hardware, and thin-film interconnects.
- Conduct electrode coating development and testing.
- Perform verification and validation testing of systems and components.
- Engage in medical device design and assembly.
- Drive CAD, fabricate prototypes, and write code.
- Participate in cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing across biomedical engineering and related fields.
Job Requirements
- Exceptional skills in medical device design and assembly, thin-film electrode design, and microfabrication.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Ability to execute tasks swiftly and effectively.
- Cross-disciplinary knowledge in biomedical engineering, materials science, biology, medical imaging, or software engineering.
- Experience in bringing implantable devices to market is a bonus.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on work and development processes.
- Neurotechnology experience is not necessary.
