Responsibilities

  • Design, fabricate, and test novel electrodes and leads for the device.
  • Develop implanted connectors, hardware, and thin-film interconnects.
  • Conduct electrode coating development and testing.
  • Perform verification and validation testing of systems and components.
  • Engage in medical device design and assembly.
  • Drive CAD, fabricate prototypes, and write code.
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary knowledge sharing across biomedical engineering and related fields.

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional skills in medical device design and assembly, thin-film electrode design, and microfabrication.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
  • Ability to execute tasks swiftly and effectively.
  • Cross-disciplinary knowledge in biomedical engineering, materials science, biology, medical imaging, or software engineering.
  • Experience in bringing implantable devices to market is a bonus.
  • Willingness to engage in hands-on work and development processes.
  • Neurotechnology experience is not necessary.
