Responsibilities
- Support early-stage feasibility and product development of medical devices for insulin administration.
- Generate design requirements, prototypes, and implement designs.
- Collaborate with R&D engineers to develop and modify test processes and fixtures.
- Conduct design reviews, verification, and documentation per FDA guidelines.
- Create test requirement matrices and procedures for design verification.
- Identify test methods and develop fixtures for verification tests.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings regarding design and quality issues.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma with 10+ years of experience, or a BS/MS in Engineering with 5-6+ years of experience in regulated environments.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, both analog and digital.
- Experience in low power embedded design and CAD tools.
- Familiarity with FDA guidelines for medical devices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects.
- Knowledge of PCB layout and electrical safety standards.
- Experience with LabVIEW and RF design is a plus.
