Responsibilities
- Serve as the first technical contact for production disturbances and resolve production issues.
- Process defective materials for engineering evaluation.
- Modify shop orders to ensure continuous production execution.
- Develop and improve troubleshooting documentation for production test hardware.
- Spend 75% of time on the production floor working with technician teams to address technical blockers.
- Allocate 25% of time for independent development work, including data analysis and improving documentation.
- Collaborate with technical functions to eliminate production disturbances.
Job Requirements
- Familiarity with Low Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing practices and principles.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques (e.g., Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC).
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- Experience with Electrical System Design and Mechanical Design.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Preferred experience with SAP, NX Unigraphics, Aerospace/Optical Manufacturing, Python, and Statistical Analysis Software.
