Responsibilities
- Own spacecraft build from components through final assembly.
- Build, organize, and manage a multidisciplinary schedule for timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with teams across propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing.
- Identify and resolve build issues across the organization.
- Provide feedback to design teams to enhance processing throughout the spacecraft lifecycle.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and conduct periodic visits.
- Manage the entire manufacturing lifecycle for assigned projects and hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience developing manufacturing processes from scratch.
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, industrial, chemical, or material manufacturing.
- Preferred: Master's degree and 7+ years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with complex fluid or mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX, SOLIDWORKS).
- Familiarity with industrial control systems and general mechanical experience.
