Responsibilities
- Own all aspects of turbomachinery component manufacturing from product inception and iteration to volume production.
- Work with various CAM software and quickly learn new software.
- Program turbomachinery using MAX-PAC, Hypermill or similar.
- Install advanced CNC machining work centers and develop processes for prototype, test, and flight hardware.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to enhance manufacturability and reliability of components.
- Resolve technical issues with innovative solutions.
- Advance in multiple manufacturing fields to improve in-house production capabilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with CNC machines and CAM packages.
- 3+ years of experience in design, test, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Experience with 5-axis mills and various CNC machines.
- Ability to quickly learn new CAM software and manage tool libraries.
- Demonstrated project ownership and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: 6+ years of experience with CNC machines and programming turbomachinery.
