Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for projects according to code and standards.
- Research commercially available equipment.
- Maintain good client relations and documentation for project records.
- Coordinate design and schedule with various disciplines.
- Document design decisions and monitor project design progress.
- Review project documents for accuracy before final checks.
- Conduct job site observations as required by contract services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of design techniques and principles for technical plans.
- Understanding of physical principles related to fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and BIM.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel locally with occasional overnight stays.
- Electrical building systems design knowledge is a plus.
