Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers on electrical design for a robotic platform.
- Design prototypes and specify instrumentation and motors for R&D projects.
- Progress systems through product commercialization, including panel design and fabrication.
- Provide troubleshooting and manufacturing support in a fast-paced environment.
- Create design solutions with good documentation processes using CAD Design in Solidworks.
- Support Lean manufacturing efforts and act as the specifying engineer for DFM.
- Transition between office and field work as needed and contribute to overall product development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant Electrical Engineering experience.
- Ability to solve engineering problems using first principles analysis.
- Experience with industrial equipment design and real-time PLC systems.
- Knowledge of UL508A and industrial electrical design.
- Proficiency in Solidworks Electrical Schematics and managing PDM.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
