Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Design and Industrial Design teams to conceptualize and build prototypes.
- Use 3D CAD software (preferably NX) to model parts and components for consumer devices.
- Create detailed 2D drawings for fabrication and work closely with vendors.
- Design and conduct experiments to guide design decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to bring concepts from ideation to execution.
- Participate in design reviews and present work for feedback.
- Engage in hands-on prototyping and problem-solving activities.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Product Design Engineering.
- Experience with 3D CAD software for designing mechanical components.
- Passion for building and prototyping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with consumer product development and knowledge of materials.
- Familiarity with prototyping equipment and industrial design principles.
