Responsibilities
- Provide direction to the manufacturing team, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Develop standard work procedures and ensure compliance by all manufacturing personnel.
- Monitor team performance and recommend employee development plans.
- Address and resolve production issues affecting manufacturing operations.
- Review engineering drawings to assess manufacturability and provide feedback.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and minimize rework.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years in manufacturing engineering with experience in process development.
- Lean experience required (Green Belt preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with CAD Software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred) and ERP Systems (SAP preferred).
