Responsibilities
- Direct department activities to design new products and modify existing designs.
- Resolve problems using innovative techniques and technologies.
- Analyze technology trends and market demand to plan projects.
- Collaborate with management and staff to assess engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare budget requests and forecast operating costs for the department.
- Advise management on developments affecting profit, schedule, and costs.
- Mentor junior employees and lead cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Knowledge of CAD and engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
