Principal Test Electrical Engineer - Power Systems

The role involves contributing to the design of advanced turbo machinery technologies at Honeywell, focusing on aerospace hardware for military and civilian applications.

• Designing electrical solutions and creating AutoCAD Electrical drawings for hardware fabrication.
• Designing Facility Control Systems (FCS) architecture from concept to commissioning.
• Designing control interface architecture for Unit Under Test (UUT) from concept to commissioning.
• Designing and troubleshooting start systems, load banks, and dynamometers.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and modifying facility screens for enhancements.
• Providing quality solutions quickly to support customer needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 18+ years of experience in a testing environment overseeing hardware testing.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical for designing loading systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electrical standards, and electrical engineering concepts.
• Experience with standard test equipment and programming languages.
• Strong work ethic prioritizing safety and data quality.
