Responsibilities
- Own a test from beginning to end, including developing test requirements and procedures.
- Guide technicians in the testing phases: setup, run, and tear down.
- Design and fabricate fixturing for various tests.
- Prepare, scan, and analyze hardware using 3D scan technology.
- Perform static stress testing, hydrostatic testing, and CG/MOI measurement.
- Conduct modal testing, acoustic ring signature testing, and electro-dynamic vibration shaker testing.
- Utilize laser vibrometry testing techniques.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Engineering Test of hardware.
- Proficiency in reading machine drawings.
- Understanding of dynamics, statics, and high-speed data acquisition.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 810 standards.
- Experience with strain gages, thermocouples, and load cells.
- Ability to design hardware in NX or other modeling software.
