Responsibilities
- Own a test from beginning to end, including developing test requirements and procedures.
- Guide technicians during testing phases including setup, running, and teardown.
- Design and fabricate fixturing for various tests.
- Prepare, scan, and analyze hardware using 3D scan technology.
- Perform various types of testing including static stress, hydrostatic, and modal testing.
- Conduct electro-dynamic vibration shaker testing and laser vibrometry testing.
- Manage communication with internal customers regarding test schedules and requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Engineering Test of hardware.
- Proficiency in reading machine drawings.
- Understanding of dynamics, statics, and high-speed data acquisition.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 810 standards.
- Experience with strain gages, thermocouples, and accelerometers.
- Ability to design hardware in NX or similar modeling software.
