Responsibilities
- Own a test from beginning to end: develop test requirements and procedures, estimate program costs, manage test schedules, conduct test reviews, and communicate with internal customers.
- Guide technicians during testing phases, including setup, running, and teardown.
- Design and fabricate fixturing for various tests.
- Prepare, scan, and analyze hardware using 3D scan technology.
- Perform various testing methods including static stress, hydrostatic, and acoustic ring signature testing.
- Conduct electro-dynamic vibration shaker testing and laser vibrometry testing.
- Collaborate with the machine shop for fabrication and ensure safety and data quality.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Engineering Test of hardware.
- Proficiency in reading machine drawings.
- Understanding of dynamics, statics, and high-speed data acquisition.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 and MIL-STD 810 Vibration and Shock sections.
- Experience with various testing equipment and programming languages like Python.
- Ability to design hardware in modeling software and perform hands-on tasks.
