Responsibilities
- Imagine, design, and develop aerospace products and systems.
- Collaborate with Honeywell Aerospace engineering teams to create innovative solutions.
- Participate in all phases of product development and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Lead project teams to solve complex engineering problems.
- Conduct engineering analysis and weight optimization.
- Design engineering using CAD-based modeling and lead design reviews.
- Gather and incorporate the voice of the customer into design processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
- 8+ years of design experience in the aerospace sector.
- Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Experience creating and releasing 2D drawings with proper dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and ability to perform tolerance stack analyses.
- Experience supporting structured design reviews.
- Understanding of aerospace propulsion systems and relevant materials.
