Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure manufacturability of mechanical components.
- Evaluate and qualify suppliers by assessing manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Identify and develop new supplier capabilities for scaling and product introduction.
- Drive improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and capacity through data analysis.
- Lead root cause analysis for supplier quality issues, coordinating with various teams.
- Manage the production part approval process (PPAP) and compliance documentation.
- Resolve supplier quality issues through analysis and coordination.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical systems.
- Experience managing external suppliers.
- Knowledge of supplier quality processes and statistical techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and hands-on exposure to engineering disciplines.
- Ability to travel 25–50%; valid driver’s license required.
