Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the nuclear engineering team, including neutronics and diagnostics experts.
- Oversee and manage the delivery of nuclear engineering needs such as shielding design and dose estimation.
- Conduct hiring actions to build the team as project scope demands.
- Translate annual goals into tasks and manage month-to-month planning.
- Drive schedule ownership to accelerate milestone completion.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing a nuclear engineering team with a high-impact final product.
- Experience with neutronics simulations using MCNP and variance reduction techniques.
- Hands-on experience with radioactive materials and operating diagnostic detectors.
- Proven mentorship experience across a range of expertise and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with people management systems and company policies.
