Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations.
- Develop design deliverables including one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate with Designers and CADD Technicians to ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications.
- Conduct site visits during the design, construction, and as-built phases of projects.
- Create design sketches and redline drawings.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Work under the direction of Project Managers and Project Engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or the ability to acquire one within 6 months.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire for professional growth.
- Familiarity with electrical design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD.
