Responsibilities
- Coordinate the work of the electrical design team on large projects.
- Establish and participate in meetings for code compliance reviews.
- Manage workload to ensure timely completion of project documents.
- Conduct work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
- Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
- Write/edit electrical specifications and select equipment and systems.
- Provide construction contract administration and QA/QC for electrical work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Previous experience in electrical design of buildings.
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power.
- Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis preferred.
- Experience or interest in sustainable design/LEED preferred.
