Responsibilities
- Coordinate work of the electrical design team during project phases.
- Establish and participate in meetings for code compliance reviews.
- Manage workload to ensure timely completion of documents.
- Conduct work sessions at project sites with project managers and other disciplines.
- Review electrical documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
- Write/edit electrical specifications and select relevant equipment and systems.
- Provide construction contract administration and conduct QA/QC on the work of other engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design of buildings.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and Easy Power.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or consulting firm is preferred.
- Commitment to being an active participant in the company culture.
- Interest in sustainable design/LEED is a plus.
