Responsibilities
- Perform assignments in Rail and Transit systems covering signaling, traction power, communications, SCADA, and Safety Systems Assurance.
- Assist with technical design reviews and calculations checks.
- Coordinate with other technicians and disciplines to produce design deliverables.
- Assist in the design of power distribution systems.
- Support senior engineers and designers as needed.
- Contribute to project completion needs.
- Improve technical communication and report writing skills.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in an Electrical Engineering co-op program from an accredited university.
- Good academic standing and interest in rail and transit design.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Extracurricular involvement and knowledge of consultancy environments.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attributes of a young professional, including teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
