Responsibilities
- Construct, test, and troubleshoot prototype and production loudspeakers and subassemblies.
- Report progress to the Mechanical or Acoustic Systems Engineer.
- Support Systems Engineers and Engineering Leadership in product development.
- Prepare for lab tours and presentations.
- Work on other assigned projects.
- Collaborate with team members effectively.
- Communicate findings and progress to leadership.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Sophomore year or later, or graduate/Ph.D. program.
- Degree in a related field with courses in Acoustics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related areas.
- Knowledge of technology products in audio.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a recording environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools or Logic is a bonus.
