Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering efforts for new product development across JBL Professional loudspeakers.
- Partner with global teams in various departments to execute programs from concept through production.
- Oversee product designs for manufacturability and drive implementation across manufacturing sites.
- Allocate and manage engineering resources efficiently across projects.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering technical mastery and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with life safety standards for mechanical engineering.
- Champion mechanical engineering best practices for performance and sustainability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product development engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong collaboration skills across interdisciplinary teams.
- Technical expertise in materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM systems, FEA, and DFMEA methodologies.
- Familiarity with standard collaboration and productivity tools.
