Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies.
- Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Support production planning and scheduling to maximize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and supply chain, to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program or greater in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or Python is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Passion for sustainability and the electric vehicle industry.
