Electrical Engineer

The role is for an Electrical Engineer responsible for designing electrical systems, including power distribution and motor control systems, primarily in the oil and gas industry.

• Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for electrical systems.
• Develop various electrical design deliverables (site plans, wiring diagrams, etc.).
• Maintain understanding of design standards and engineering codes.
• Establish and maintain client contact on technical matters.
• Perform technical reviews and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Conduct equipment selection research and develop recommendations.
• Perform engineering calculations in compliance with industry standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in electrical engineering design and layout.
• Experience with ETAP software.
• Familiarity with industry codes (NEC, IEEE 1584, API RP500).
• Experience in specifying electrical equipment and vendor coordination.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
