Electrical Engineer

The role involves leading the preparation of proposals and scope development for engineering projects in the energy sector, focusing on physical substation design and protection/control design.

• Lead in preparation of proposals and scope development.
• Create conceptual designs and execution plans.
• Design physical substations including layouts, plans, and details.
• Develop engineering/project cost estimates and schedules.
• Conduct protection and control design with panel arrangements and schematics.
• Perform calculations for studies and reports (e.g., grounding, load studies).
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers.

• Experience in electrical engineering, specifically in substation design.
• Strong understanding of protection and control systems.
• Proficiency in engineering/project cost estimation.
• Ability to develop and improve engineering processes and tools.
• Leadership skills to mentor and train junior engineers.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the energy sector.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
