Responsibilities
- Perform routine calculations for HVAC systems.
- Assist in the basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal contacts.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Apply working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1 standards.
- Utilize software such as Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP for energy modeling.
- Produce designs using Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architecture/Engineering.
- At least three years of experience in HVAC and energy modeling.
- Ability to collaborate with various project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic design and layout of HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1.
- Experience with Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD.
- Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
