Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical and controls design for automated manufacturing systems, including CNC and robotic cells.
- Develop and maintain PLC applications using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 or Siemens TIA Portal.
- Integrate and commission industrial robots and sensors using protocols like EtherCAT and PROFINET.
- Design and debug control panels to meet industrial standards.
- Create HMI interfaces.
- Perform onsite commissioning and troubleshooting, mentoring junior engineers.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Expertise in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) and motion control.
- Proficiency in robotic systems integration.
- Experience in designing and commissioning electrical systems and panels.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards (ISO 13849, ANSI B11).
- High-level programming skills (e.g., C# or Python) are a plus.
- Experience with machine vision systems and industrial networking is beneficial.
