Responsibilities
- Manage product development programs, defining milestones and success criteria.
- Allocate resources and ensure successful on-time delivery.
- Use technical judgment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Develop tools and processes to enhance hardware engineering productivity.
- Communicate schedules, budgets, priorities, and status to all levels of the company.
- Identify technical risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
- Drive documentation/drawing releases and coordinate with engineering and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of professional experience in hardware product development.
- Experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence teams.
- Bonus: Master's degree in a related field.
- Bonus: Experience with high volume mass production and product development processes.
- Bonus: Experience collaborating with factories and supply chain for NPI development.
