Responsibilities
- Develop and design new products and improve existing products within budget and customer requirements.
- Select materials and assembly methods in conjunction with manufacturing.
- Analyze customer returns and develop corrective actions.
- Provide technical assistance for sales quotations.
- Assist manufacturing with early build support and core APQP processes.
- Develop test plans and assist with product validation.
- Create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings, following CAD procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience using CAD software.
- Minimum of two years of applicable design engineering experience.
- Experience with PTC Creo solid modeling and PDM environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands-on experience in production, design, or manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like plastic injection molding and assembly.
