Responsibilities
- Drive and support mechanical architecture, development, and analysis for new products.
- Oversee design, analysis, documentation, and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical engineering evaluations and tests to validate product performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Contribute to the development of mechanical tooling and production part qualification.
- Engage in international travel as required for project needs.
- Utilize state-of-the-art CAD and analysis tools for mechanical designs.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing consumer electronics products, preferably handheld and mobile devices.
- Proficient in NX, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
- Knowledge of FEA tools such as ANSYS.
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and statistical tolerance analysis.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex mechanical development projects.
