Responsibilities
- Characterize and evaluate the thermal performance of high-power server/rack designs using lab equipment.
- Collaborate, develop, and execute test plans and strategies in a timely manner.
- Perform data analysis and generate test reports.
- Setup, troubleshoot, and debug systems in a Linux environment.
- Improve testing environments and test execution strategies.
- Maintain lab space, tools, and manage inventory of prototype devices.
- Enforce lab safety and general housekeeping.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a thermal design/test technical environment.
- Experience with air/liquid cooled data center environments.
- Proficiency in Linux and scripting in a research lab.
- Familiarity with computational thermal/mechanical simulation software.
- Experience with thermal cooling technologies and developing test strategies.
- Excellent software skills in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, or similar.
