Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment across process areas (vacuum, lithography, metrology, wet processing, etc.).
- Design and implement equipment modifications and improvements, including upgrades to control systems, robotic handling, and other automation.
- Manage advanced troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems, including robotics, PLCs, motion control, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
- Work with process and equipment engineering teams to provide project support for tool and upgrade installations, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, including front-end and back-end operations.
- Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Preferred: Master's degree in a related field.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
- Preferred: Experience with semiconductor equipment and AutoCAD design.
