Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of Pixel phone development and own Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) of product and its sub-component development.
- Provide detailed SI and PI rules as system level design guidelines for critical power rails and interfaces.
- Drive solutions of SI and PI issues with design engineers, PCB designers, and cross-functional partners.
- Partner with Engineering and Qualification teams on system bring up and design validation.
- Collaborate with Electronic Design Automation (EDA)/equipment vendors to improve the simulation/measurement flow.
- Perform lab design validation, correlation study, and root cause debugging.
- Write scripts to automate model extractions, simulations, and lab validations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in Signal Integrity and Power Integrity Engineering, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Experience in power integrity and signal integrity for mass volume production design.
- Knowledge of Electromagnetic field and transmission line theory.
- Proficiency with Electronic design automation tools (e.g., Ansys HFSS, Cadence PowerSI).
- Experience with lab measurement, validation, and correlation at package and PCB level.
