Responsibilities
- Support the advanced manufacturing engineer in developing innovative manufacturing process solutions.
- Strategize the implementation of new manufacturing processes into production and capacity planning.
- Develop manufacturing documentation (BOMs, assembly drawings, work instructions) for new product introductions.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams during NPI phases to identify value engineering opportunities.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners on build readiness and process validation.
- Solve complex design and manufacturing challenges to ensure timely NPI launches.
- Drive continuous process improvements with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 8 years of experience with SMT and box build manufacturing processes.
- Experience in developing PCBA manufacturing processes, including testing and qualification.
- Proficiency in DFx tools like Valor and Allegro.
- Familiarity with manufacturing best practices (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools (e.g., SAP, Agile, Windchill).
- Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
