Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters to meet program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams and external partners including material availability, cost, assembly, test, Bill of Materials (BOM), capacity readiness, and transition plans.
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 4 years of experience in hardware operations.
- Experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
- Knowledge about typical hardware BOMs, process documentation, and assembly and test processes.
- Excellent communication skills with developed leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA or Master's degree in relevant fields.
