Responsibilities
- Own and drive analysis of designs for early optimization and root cause analysis of mechanical problems.
- Generate Finite Element Analysis (FEM) models for mechanical parts and assemblies.
- Conduct material characterization and testing to support modeling efforts.
- Propose solutions to problems based on analysis data.
- Create engineering specifications and processes for design validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence.
- Participate in the design and prototyping of new concepts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in mechanical design and CAD tools.
- Experience with structural simulation software (e.g., ABAQUS, ANSYS).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, sheet metal forming).
- Experience in consumer product design and collaboration with suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
