Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional hardware, software, and systems teams to define, implement, and integrate battery charging (wired/wireless) hardware solutions.
- Define and develop detailed circuit/analytic models for optimizing charging efficiency, reducing charging time, and improving thermal performance.
- Define, develop, and optimize magnetic components for charging, such as wireless charging coils using modeling and simulation tools.
- Create a hardware power testing plan, validate the charging hardware system, and collaborate with teams for system validation.
- Propose and drive the implementation of innovative new power solutions for charging features across hardware and software.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in consumer or wearable electronics system design.
- Experience in power conversion design for consumer electronics applications.
- Knowledge of system power converter modeling, simulation, and electromagnetic modeling.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Power Electronics or related discipline.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience in power conversion design and wireless charging.
- Familiarity with battery charging applications and related specifications.
