Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery charging hardware solutions.
  • Develop detailed circuit/analytic models to optimize charging efficiency and thermal performance.
  • Design and optimize magnetic components for charging, including wireless charging coils.
  • Create and validate hardware power testing plans for charging systems.
  • Propose and implement innovative power solutions for improved charging features.
  • Contribute to the development of global wireless charging standards through participation in the Wireless Power Consortium.
  • Explore advancements in charging technologies and features for consumer electronics.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in power conversion design for consumer electronics.
  • Preferred: Master's or PhD in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with wireless charging design and WPC-Qi specifications.
  • Knowledge of power converter modeling, simulation tools, and electromagnetic analysis.
  • Understanding of on-board power conversion design for battery charging applications.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
