Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate battery charging hardware solutions.
- Develop detailed circuit/analytic models to optimize charging efficiency and thermal performance.
- Design and optimize magnetic components for charging, including wireless charging coils.
- Create and validate hardware power testing plans for charging systems.
- Propose and implement innovative power solutions for improved charging features.
- Contribute to the development of global wireless charging standards through participation in the Wireless Power Consortium.
- Explore advancements in charging technologies and features for consumer electronics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in power conversion design for consumer electronics.
- Preferred: Master's or PhD in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with wireless charging design and WPC-Qi specifications.
- Knowledge of power converter modeling, simulation tools, and electromagnetic analysis.
- Understanding of on-board power conversion design for battery charging applications.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
