Responsibilities
- Translate product management reliability goals into appropriate testable goals.
- Perform statistical data analysis, Accelerated Life Testing (ALT) testing/modeling, and risk assessment.
- Develop reliability performance metrics and lead management reviews.
- Plan reliability test methodology and execution for all aspects of the product.
- Drive and lead the failure analysis process with cross-functional teams.
- Perform field data analysis and refine usage models for continuous improvement.
- Communicate technical recommendations effectively to ensure adoption.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in Design for Reliability techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis methods (Monte Carlo, DoE, SPC).
- Experience with reliability modeling tools (JMP, Weibull++).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in relevant fields, experience with failure analysis techniques, and programming skills (Python, R, MATLAB).
