Responsibilities
- Evaluate, design, and optimize liquid cooling components (cold plates, manifolds, heat exchangers, fan coils).
- Conduct detailed thermal and hydraulic simulations using CFD and pipe flow analysis.
- Apply expertise in data center cooling systems and hydronic analysis to optimize designs.
- Implement product design principles (DFMEA, DFM) and conduct experimental validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve cooling systems.
- Ensure compliance with codes and standards related to cooling systems.
- Communicate recommendations and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in thermal management systems design.
- Proficiency in thermal and hydraulic analysis tools (CFD, FEA).
- Experience with data center cooling technologies and chip-to-chiller architectures.
- Knowledge of experimental methods and data analysis.
- Strong background in metrology and process interactions.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
