Responsibilities
- Identify security, privacy, compliance, sustainability, or other operational risks and recommend actions to minimize them.
- Improve infrastructure and services to meet future demands.
- Provide exceptional support to manufacturing systems and clients.
- Implement cutting-edge technologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of critical systems hosted on-premise and in Google Cloud Platforms.
- Contribute to longer-term technical projects and process improvements.
- Document efforts that support operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in designing and managing enterprise-level GCP environments.
- 2 years of experience in an IT Systems technical environment, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- Experience with Terraform, Linux, and Windows management.
- GCP DevOps Engineer certification (preferred).
- Experience with Disaster Recovery planning (preferred).
- Experience with VMware clusters and GCP VMware Engine (preferred).
