Responsibilities
- Qualify reliability performance of materials and coatings for consumer products.
- Translate product management reliability goals into appropriate testable objectives.
- Perform statistical data analysis, ALT testing, modeling, and risk assessment.
- Oversee the development of reliability performance metrics and test planning.
- Lead management reviews and end-to-end test execution for all product aspects.
- Drive and lead the failure analysis process for all reliability testing failures.
- Communicate technical recommendations to executives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in applying Design for Reliability techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis methods such as Monte Carlo Analysis, DoE, SPC, or Gage R&R.
- Experience with reliability modeling techniques (e.g., Reliability Block Diagram, Weibull).
- Preferred Master's degree or PhD in Hardware Engineering or related field.
- Experience with programming languages for data analysis and hardware tests (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
