Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to support engineering decisions during hardware R&D.
- Collaborate with hardware designers to understand project architectures and system components.
- Define and document electrical characterization and validation of power distribution networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical component defects and design issues.
- Support design engineers with debugging and validation of components.
- Develop automated test procedures for qualification and testing.
- Liaise between hardware engineering teams and lab teams for resource management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a power electronics technical environment, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- Physical capability to lift/move 40lb of equipment and perform physical tasks.
- Preferred: Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with power measurement equipment and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Knowledge of DC-DC converters and power management methodologies.
- Familiarity with power testing methodologies and hardware validation.
