Responsibilities
- Support the advanced manufacturing engineer in developing innovative manufacturing processes.
- Implement innovative manufacturing processes into production and capacity planning.
- Develop manufacturing documentation (BOMs, assembly drawings, work instructions) for new product introductions.
- Collaborate with design and cross-functional engineering teams during NPI phases.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure build readiness and process validation.
- Solve design and manufacturing challenges to meet project timelines for NPI launches.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous process improvements with cross-functional teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and box build manufacturing processes.
- Experience in developing PCBA manufacturing processes including acceptance testing and qualification.
- Proficiency in DFx using tools like Valor and Allegro.
- Experience in project engineering overseeing NPI operational readiness.
- Familiarity with manufacturing best practices (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to drive root cause analysis and process improvements.
