Responsibilities
- Support the advanced manufacturing engineer in developing innovative manufacturing process solutions.
- Strategize the implementation of manufacturing processes into established production and capacity planning.
- Develop manufacturing documentation to support new product introductions.
- Collaborate with design and cross-functional engineering teams to identify value engineering opportunities.
- Work closely with manufacturing partners on build readiness and process validation.
- Solve design and manufacturing challenges efficiently to meet project timing.
- Ensure robust Design For Excellence (DFx) and manufacturability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and box build manufacturing processes.
- Experience in developing PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with tools like Valor and Allegro for DFx.
- Preferred Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in new site, line, or equipment bring up/transfer and qualification.
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices such as Lean and Six Sigma.
