Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end commissioning life-cycle for data center mechanical systems.
- Drive the integration of mechanical controls strategies with design and operations teams.
- Manage cross-functional partnerships with third-party data center providers and internal engineering teams.
- Oversee the testing and tuning of mechanical plant controls (chillers, cooling towers, AHUs).
- Ensure validation of Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA architectures.
- Collaborate with contractors and site safety teams to align commissioning activities with construction schedules.
- Communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in data center or critical facility design and commissioning.
- Proficiency with Building Management Systems, PLC programming, and SCADA Architecture.
- Experience managing projects in a Design/Build delivery environment.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus on technical strategies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with data center cooling optimization and control logic tuning.
