Responsibilities
- Independently manage or contribute to all laboratory automation projects.
- Define project scope in consultation with supervisor and stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize automation solutions for RNA synthesis and high throughput nucleic acid synthesis platforms.
- Support DNA and RNA production line using automation tools to meet revenue goals.
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of automated system instruments.
- Acquire new technologies to improve existing laboratory automation systems.
- Provide day-to-day maintenance and production support for manufacturing equipment.
Job Requirements
- BS in Engineering Discipline or related subjects with 2+ years of automation experience.
- Proven experience in workflow design and process optimization with automation.
- Knowledge of commercial automated liquid handlers.
- Basic understanding of molecular biology experiments.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours in emergencies.
