Responsibilities
- Provide welding engineering support to the Body production organization.
- Assist with various welding processes, including spot, MIG, plasma, and laser welding.
- Troubleshoot and provide training on the plant floor for manufacturing issues.
- Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing engineers and production teams.
- Validate processes with new equipment builds and installations.
- Ensure safety and compliance with all policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams for quality and cost improvements.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Expected graduation between August 2026 and June 2028.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week in a plant environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and project management skills.
- Willingness to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 40 lbs.
