The role involves solving problems and executing objectives related to the producibility and cost goals of rotating parts/compressor airfoil components in the aerospace industry, particularly within Defense Engine products.

Responsibilities

  • Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
  • Develop business cases for projects and document technical data.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve engineering issues.
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal customers.
  • Communicate significant issues or developments in a timely manner.
  • Support the implementation of Flight Deck principles within teams.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures and consult senior team members as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum 3 months experience in a relevant engineering position (internships, co-ops, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% annually.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Experience utilizing GD&T and design/manufacturing experience is desired.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects effectively.
