Responsibilities
- Apply CAD techniques and manufacturing processes to develop mechanical components.
- Execute detailed mechanical design tasks ensuring manufacturability and durability.
- Develop and refine component layouts, assemblies, and system designs.
- Conduct testing, analyze results, and compile reports to validate design performance.
- Plan and execute project tasks strategically to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with engineers and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for technical improvements in mechanical design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum five years of experience in product design with expertise in 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks preferred).
- Strong background in designing consumer or commercial products.
- Experience with plastic injection molding and metal fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex ideas clearly.
